Every six months I get my letter and usually try to get to the sheriffs office that very day. I don’t like to have things hanging. It is very embarrassing, as is the deputy coming to the house every month. So far they have never came there and caught me not at home.
I am always at home because I am afraid to go anywhere. I love children but I am terrified to be anywhere near them, not because I might offend again but because they are a danger to me. Some woman might point to me and say “he did it” and away I go, back to jail again. Law enforcement is lazy so if I get pointed out they won’t look for any other possibility, because I am an offender and I am handy so I get locked up again and “case closed”. I only go to the doctor’s offices, Food Lion, Walmart or Lowes Home Improvement and only during busy times, so that there are as many witnesses as possible.
Another thing I wish was changed is the time I spend on this list. When I got out of jail and registered I was told that I had to be on the list for ten years. At about one year I was told that now that had been changed to thirty years and there was no grandfather clause. Somehow that seems illegal. I was sentenced and served my time all under the law of ten years as a registered sex offender and one year after I am out they change my time.

I will join in about two weeks when my social security comes this month.
