Reading this website has made me want to cry because I have been looking for direction to get to people who can understand what I have been dealing with as the last 8 years of my life have been rough. Here is my story.

I was convicted of a crime that happened back in 2011, in a chat room by a police officer out of Gilpen County Colorado.I took it to trial and had a bad attorney who mis represented me at the trial and helped get me convicted.

I feel that Gilpen County has been too aggressive in there chat room stings and are nabbing inocence people who are not criminals. I have been on probation and had to register as a sex offender but its almost like I am in prison.

I live in Tacoma WA and the last few years my wife and I have spent all we have and maxed our credit to fight my ineffective assistance of counsel conviction which was not even looked at because the procecution used a loop hole and kept me convicted. The attorney that represent me at the trial in 2013 has been suspended 2 times since my trial and has been disbarred for his conduct, yet the Apeals courts wont look at my ineffective assistance of counsel motion.

I am asking for help. I have followed all the rules of probation and feel I have been harshly punished for this situation from a Yahoo chatroom to which the officer portrayed someone under age in a chat room where your suppose to be 18 to chat.

My hope that you can help me.

I would like my freedom back as the State of Colorado wants me to be registered for life and I have served almost 5 years or probation and they want me to serve a minimum of 10 which is very harsh and I am stuck until I am off probation.
