I see HB-84 getting closer to being passed. Something that may very well cost me my job, take away teaching and bonding time with my daughter, and make it illegal for me to even go to my local post office to get my mail. Talk is cheap. No representative is gonna vote in favor of a sex offender. Lawsuits don't work either cause the senators arent held accountable. Just the taxpayers. And most laypersons don't blame the Senate for the state paying out a lawsuit, they are mad at the courts and the sex offender.i can't change the mind of someone to vote on something that is unconstitutional. But if that bill passed, I intend to sue the state for ex post facto punishment causing the loss of my job and my rights being taken away from me. I don't know how premise restrictions still exist. They seem so illegal. I feel so sorry for those they do apply to now. But to apply it to thousands of offenders years after sentencing, seems very illegal. I really wish lawmakers would read the constitution.
