I am in the process of petitioning the courts to be removed. With a house check every 90 days you could be anywhere in between as long as you aren’t on probation or parole. The registry makes the public feel safer but in all retrospect it’s not necessarily true. I have done my time and haven’t been on probation since 2012. But the government keeps the registry hanging over your head.

P.S. Non violent Offenders shouldn’t be held in the same class as violent Offenders. I just want to move on with my life and for the most part I have. As a retired EMT-I of almost 30 years I am working part time and have a great support system. There isn’t a group of individuals or an organization except NCRSOL that tries to help time served individuals get off the registry.
